The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that American investigative journalist Jeff Herman was found murdered near his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The newspaper pointed out that journalist Herman’s reporting covered topics ranging from organized crime and abuse of power to political scandals and the October 2017 Las Vegas mass shootings.
According to the publication, Las Vegas police are investigating the murder and believe that Germane was involved in a shootout late Friday morning, after which he was injured.
Agerman joined the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2010, having previously worked for the Las Vegas Sun. The journalist was 69 years old.
