Massive Gathering of 25,000 Believers for Tarawih Prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Today, Wednesday, some 25,000 believers performed the Isha and Tarawih prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on the eighth night of Ramadan, despite the measures taken by the occupying forces.

Despite the obstacles and barriers erected by the Israeli army on the way of the believers, they were able to get to Al-Aqsa and pray there.

And the Department of Endowments in Jerusalem announced that about 25,000 believers have performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Tens of thousands of citizens who came from different regions gathered in the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

In this regard, the director of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Al-Kiswani, described the statement of extremist Jewish groups about their intention to introduce animal sacrifice in Al-Aqsa as “very dangerous.”

He emphasized that the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, along with the masses of citizens, would oppose this attempt and not allow it to happen, stating: “This is what we brought to the attention of the occupiers and we demanded that they curb their extremist settlers.”
