Marseille ousted Saint-Germain from the French Cup

The Marseille club ended the career of their rivals Paris Saint-Germain at the start of the Coupe de France by eliminating them from the final price round by beating them two goals to one.

Marseille scored a goal from a penalty kick taken by Chilean Alexis Sánchez in the 31st minute before veteran Spanish defender Sergio Ramos equalized for the capital club at 2 + 45 minutes.

At the 57th minute, Ukrainian Ruslan Malinovsky scored Marseille’s winning goal with a rocket.

Now the conflict between Marseille and Saint-Germain will move into the French league as the Parisian team leads the competition, eight points ahead of their nearest rival, Marseille.
