Manchester United respond to Ronaldo’s request

According to English media reports, Manchester United reacted in their own way to the request of their Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the team during the current summer transfer period.

And the British newspaper The Mirror reported that Manchester United had informed Ronaldo of the need to attend the pre-season tour, which the team will hold this week.

Ronaldo is expected to return to training this week after he made a big surprise when he told United that he wanted to leave one season after his return to the team.

Manchester United will travel to Thailand and Australia for a pre-season next Friday and it will last for about two weeks under new Dutch manager Erik Ten Hag and Ronaldo has been told he is on the list.

And the British newspaper The Times reported yesterday, Saturday, in a report that the Portuguese star has filed a request for permission to leave Manchester United if he receives an offer to do so this summer.

She added that Ronaldo justified his request with a desire to participate in the Champions League for the rest of his career.

Ronaldo decided to return to United last summer, after an experience spanning three seasons at Juventus, to go through a modest season as a team and an average season individually, in which the Don scored 24 goals and went without a championship.

United finished sixth in the English Premier League, which means Ronaldo will not play in the Champions League next season if he continues to play at Oldafford Stadium.

It is worth noting that Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the new season, in about a year.
