Dutch coach Eric Ten Hag has confirmed that Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is in his plans, in response to the circulating news of his departure from the club.
Reports indicate that Ronaldo is pushing to leave Old Trafford during the current summer transfer period for a club that gives him a chance to compete in the Champions League.
“Ronaldo is in my plans with the team, that’s all I have in that regard,” Ten Hag said during a press conference held today, Friday.
And about Ronaldo’s extreme anger after Manchester United’s humiliating 4-0 loss to his hosts Brentford last week, in the second round of the Premier League, the Dutchman said: “I don’t know why you single out Ronaldo only with Saturday?”
“The whole team was bad and everyone had difficult moments, including Ronaldo,” said Eric Ten Hag.
