Manchester United extend contracts with four of their stars

Manchester United have extended the contracts of four players until 2024, including striker Marcus Rashford, according to a statement from his Dutch coach Erik ten Hag.

“Manchester United manager Eric Ten Hag has confirmed that the club has extended the contracts of four players by one year,” the club said in a statement on its website – Rushford, left-back Luke Shaw, Portuguese right-back Diogo Dalo and midfielder Fred.

The contracts of four players were supposed to expire in June 2023, that is, at the end of the current season.

“We are happy that the team is moving in the right direction and these (four) players have made a big contribution in this direction,” said Ten Hag. “We want to develop, we want to support these players and we want them to stay in our plan “.

Rashford, 25, graduated from the United Academy and joined the first team in 2015, while Dalo and Fred joined the Red Devils in 2018 and Shaw in 2014.

United are fifth in the Premier League and will host Nottingham Forest tomorrow Tuesday in Stage 17 with the Premier League restarting after the World Cup was suspended in Qatar.
