Macron held a meeting of the French Defense Council to discuss the energy crisis in the country

French President Emmanuel Macron will hold a meeting of the French Defense and Security Council on Friday, September 2, at which he will discuss the deteriorating situation in the energy sector of his country.

BFMTV said the meeting will discuss gas supplies and increase electricity prices before the winter.

The conference will be attended by Prime Minister Elisabeth Born, Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire and Energy Transformation Minister Agnes Pannier Ronachette.
