Lukashenka in Lavrov’s future: What amazes me is Ukraine’s silence

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the West is trying to use Ukraine not so much against Russia as against Belarus, noting that the country will not be “loosened” in terms of security.

Lukashenka added during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is now visiting Minsk: “Russia has never been against the world … Security today, and not only in Russia, is the most important thing for us.”

Lukashenka said that Moscow is aware of the plans of “our western neighbors, not only Ukraine… they are trying to use Ukraine against Belarus as well. But what amazes me is that Ukraine is silent and does not raise any provocations against Belarus.” , although our western neighbors are actively pushing it.”
