Loss of suppliers and problems with employees. Report highlights UK companies hit by sanctions against Russia

The Daily Mail, citing a survey by the insurance company Mactavish, reported that almost two-thirds of British companies have suffered from the consequences of Western sanctions imposed on Russia after the start of operations in Ukraine.

According to the survey, 71% of British companies have assets that have been directly affected by the sanctions imposed against Russia.

Half also cited rising costs and downtime on their production lines, with data showing 44% lost suppliers and 42% had employee issues.

The results of the survey showed that the financial sector was the most affected by economic sectors in the United Kingdom after the imposition of sanctions against Moscow, as 92% of sector institutions were affected by the sanctions because their assets and funds are located in Russia.

At the same time, 84% of companies in the aviation industry reported losses due to their connection with leasing agreements for aircraft remaining in Russia.
