Long absence .. Arsenal coach reveals length of Al-Nini’s absence due to injury

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has announced that his Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneni will be out for a long time due to a hamstring injury.

Speaking of the injured side of El Nini and Ghana’s Thomas Partey, Arteta said during a press conference for next Sunday’s clash between Arsenal and their guest Manchester United: “For El Nini we’re talking months away, but Partey will be out for weeks or less, I hope so.”

The Spanish coach also revealed that: “Arsenal have a lot of injury concerns on their move to Manchester United as Oleksandr Zinchenko has to miss out on a trip to Old Trafford because he hasn’t trained with the team, but I hope the English goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale and Norwegian Martin will be able to move to Ödegaard after Saturday practice and hopefully they will be able to train with the team.”

“Unfortunately Nigerian Alex Iwobi, who is still unable to train with the team after missing two matches, with the team, unfortunately, this is the situation we are going through,” Arteta added.

Mohamed Elneni, 30, suffered a serious hamstring injury during a 2-1 win against Fulham last Saturday in the fourth round of the English Premier League and also missed the fifth round match against Aston Villa (2-1) . .

Arsenal will visit Manchester United next Sunday at Old Trafford as part of the sixth round of the Premier League.
