The British Foreign Office has summoned Russian Ambassador to London Andrey Kelin following reports of the death of British mercenary Paul Urey, captured in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The British government said in a statement: “The Foreign Office has summoned Russian Ambassador Andriy Kelin to express the UK’s deepest concern over reports of the death of British citizen Paul Urey in captivity in territories not controlled by the Ukrainian government.”
The statement also cited British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, who expressed “shock” at the killing of her mercenary, saying he was “working in the humanitarian field” while Russian troops captured him, fighting alongside the Kyiv Nazis on east of the country. Ukraine.
It was previously reported that the aforementioned mercenary died on July 10 due to chronic illnesses.
