Liverpool secures a Qatar 2022 World Cup champion signing

Liverpool FC announced today, Thursday, the signing of Argentine footballer Max Allister, who will support the team from Brighton, with a contract that extends until 2028.

And Liverpool issued an official statement that they had completed the contract with Max Allister after the latter successfully passed medical examinations, and both parties agreed on all terms of the contract.

And Liverpool have indicated via their Twitter account that Max Allister, the 2022 World Cup champion, will wear the number (10) in the ranks of the Reds.

For his part, the Argentine player said in statements on Liverpool FC’s official website: “It’s a great feeling. My dream has finally come true. I can’t wait to play the first match.”

He added: “I wanted to take part in the first day of preparations for the start of the new season and now I’m looking forward to meeting my new colleagues in Liverpool.”

And Max Allister added: “It’s been a great year for me, the World Cup and what we’ve achieved at Brighton, but now it’s time to think about the Liverpool stage, I’ll try to get better.”

Notably, Liverpool will not be participating in the new Champions League season, after recently finishing fifth in the English Premier League, but will only be participating in the European league, the Europa League.

24-year-old Max Allister became the world champion with Argentina on December 18, 2022 at the expense of his French colleague, defeating him in a penalty shootout.
