Liverpool are planning to sign an Algerian player who will join Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool want to make a big offer to sign Algerian star Ismail Bennacer, an AC Milan midfielder who will join Egyptian Reds star Mohamed Salah.

And Italy’s calciomercatoweb has confirmed that Liverpool will look to include Bin Nasser in what will be his fourth contract at the Mercato this summer.

The Italian site added that Liverpool had opened their coffers and prepared a sum of 40 million euros to convince AC Milan, last season’s Italian league champions, to refuse the services of the Algerian player.

He explained that the motive behind the desire of German manager Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, to sign bin Nasser is to improve the quality of the team’s midfield.

The Reds’ move came after Spanish midfielder Thiago Alcantara was injured, adding to the team’s suffering from injuries.

Alcantara, with a hamstring injury, joined Liverpool’s injury list, which included players Curtis Jones and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, as well as Guinean Naby Keita, who missed the match against Fulham due to illness.

Ben Nasser’s contract with AC Milan expires in June 2024 and the penalty clause in his contract is around 50 million euros, UK website Liverpoolecho reports.
