Lewandowski threatened with death over Barcelona

German network Sport 1 reported that Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski received death threats from unknown individuals, which forced him not to accompany his family on their way back to Germany.

It appears that a number of fanatical Bayern Munich fans have threatened to kill Lewandowski, who has announced his intention to move to Barcelona despite having a season remaining in his contract with the German club, which in turn refuses to leave the player despite the Spanish club having made three official offers to join the veteran scorer.

Lewandowski has already arrived in Munich and, together with colleagues, underwent scheduled medical examinations before the start of preparations for the new season, without his wife and children with him in the Bavaria region, amid ongoing disputes over the fate of the football player.

The German network said Lewandowski wants to quickly complete the move to Barcelona after the two clubs agreed, noting that Bayern Munich refuse to sell their top scorer for less than 50 million euros.

It is worth noting that Lewandowski moved to Bayern Munich from Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer in 2014 and played 375 games, scoring 344 goals and scoring 72 goals.
