Member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Alexei Pushkov considered the letter from US Senator Josh Holley to Chinese President Xi Jinping as evidence of insurmountable contradictions between Washington and Beijing.
“The new anti-China bill in the US is another brick in the wall of insurmountable contradictions between the US and China. And then this wall will be bigger and bigger,” Pushkov wrote in his Telegram post on Friday.
US Senator Josh Holley sent a letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping urging him to acknowledge China’s responsibility for the corona virus epidemic.
In his letter, Holly spoke about a new bill that calls on the US administration to publish all available information about the origin of the Corona virus.
The US Senate believes that the coronavirus epidemic began due to a virus leak from a laboratory in the Chinese city of Wuhan, and accuses Beijing of refusing to cooperate with an international investigation into this matter.
