A lawyer for Nicole Shanahan, the wife of Google founder Sergey Brin, said any allegations that Nicole cheated on Sergey with billionaire Elon Musk “are not just outright lies, they are slander.”

The Wall Street Journal said Sunday that Musk had an affair with Sergey Brin’s wife, which was the catalyst for their divorce.

The Wall Street Journal said it sticks to its story that Musk and Shanahan were romantically involved at Art Basel last December, and that this not only cooled Musk’s friendship with Sergei, but also served as a catalyst for their divorce.
A spokesman for the newspaper told the Daily Mail: “We have confidence in our sources and stand by our messages.”
Earlier, the publication, citing a person close to Shanahan, reported that at the time of the alleged relationship in December, Brin and his wife broke up, but still lived together.

According to the same index, Sergey Brin is worth around $95 billion, making him the eighth richest person in the world.
