Lavrov urged Guterres to demand from Kyiv to reveal the identity of those killed in Bucha

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to put pressure on Kyiv to reveal the names of the victims of the crime in the city of Bucha on the outskirts of Kyiv.

“I once again appeal to the Secretary General and respected ministers with an appeal to the Ukrainian authorities to make public the names of the people whose bodies ended up in the city of Bucha,” Lavrov said.

He continued, “We asked for this over a month ago, but no one answered, no one wanted to answer. Dear Mr. Secretary General, at least use your powers, I think it would be useful for everyone to deal with this problem.”

In April, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all photos and videos published by the Kyiv regime allegedly about “the crimes of the Russian army in the city of Bucha on the outskirts of Kyiv” are a new provocation in the context of false accusations and fabrications of the Kyiv regime against the Russian army.

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed with irrefutable evidence that this crime followed the withdrawal of Russian troops from Bucha, 10-15 days after that, and that the victims were pro-Russian residents of the city, as evidenced by the white ties on their hands, which they hung during the stay of the Russian army in the city.
