Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed President Vladimir Putin’s hope for new meetings with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi.
“President Putin conveyed his warmest greetings and best wishes to you, and expressed his hope for new meetings with you,” Lavrov said during a meeting with my president.
During his visit to Tehran on June 22-23, Lavrov will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, where the parties will discuss the nuclear agreement, negotiations on which have stalled since late March.
