Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held talks on Thursday with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on the Indonesian island of Bali, where the meetings of the G20 foreign ministers will begin today.
According to a statement released today by the Russian Foreign Ministry, Lavrov is also due to meet with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu.
Yesterday, Wednesday, Lavrov arrived on the Indonesian island of Bali to attend the G20 ministerial meeting scheduled for two days.
Earlier, the department indicated that Lavrov would hold a number of meetings at the same time, noting that it was not planned to hold a meeting with his American counterpart Anthony Blinken.
