Launch of the first eco-friendly Egyptian water bottle on the sidelines of the Climate Summit

On the sidelines of the COP27 climate summit in Egypt today, Saturday, the launch of the first Egyptian eco-friendly water bottle “Good Water” was announced to eliminate the phenomenon of plastic bottles.

Good Water launched its first phase at the 27th United Nations Climate Conference Sharm El Sheikh events with its blue 500ml bottle as it is planned to launch and exhibit Good Water for its products. in the Egyptian market at an economical price at the beginning of next year 2023.

The Al-Masri Al-Youm newspaper reported that the Good Water Ecological Water Project offers the first Egyptian bottle of mineral water made from plant materials, which uses caps made from a biopolymer obtained from sugar cane, allowing it to be replanted like plants absorbing carbon dioxide.

It was noted that the Good Water sustainable water bottle is made up primarily of wood and fibers from responsibly managed forests and other sustainable sources, as well as cardboard water, which has a much lower environmental impact than used in plastic or tin containers. , It also maintains the original purity of the water (protects the water from light) and sterilizes before filling, as the idea of Egyptian water meets internationally approved environmental standards, since it does not use fossil fuels, and it can also be reused and decomposed in nature much faster, than plastic used daily.

It is worth noting that the idea of creating the Good Water company was created in 2022 by a group of Egyptian entrepreneurs interested in the production of environmentally friendly drinking mineral water, getting rid of the culture of using plastic bottles, and supporting a group of national project investors.
