Lapid warned Levin: in six months, the Israeli economy will be destroyed, and the state will collapse from within

Former Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid sent a letter to Justice Minister Yariv Levin, warning that in six months Israel’s economy would be destroyed, its security would deteriorate, and the state would fall apart from within.

Lapid turned to Yariv Levin with the words: “Since you are a real prime minister, I am turning to you. You have chosen power over responsibility, and therefore, in six months, the Israeli economy will be destroyed, in six months, security will also deteriorate, and in six months, the State of Israel will be divided from within … and its citizens will hate each other.

Today, on Wednesday, the shekel’s exchange rate fell significantly against foreign currencies as the Israeli opposition blamed the government for judicial amendments that undermine the economy.
