Real Madrid will start their title defense campaign in the new season by facing Almeria, who have returned to the top division, while Barcelona will play Rayo Vallecano and Atlético Madrid will play Getafe in the first round. .

The El Clasico match between Real Madrid and Barcelona will take place in the new season of the League at the Santiago Bernabeu, the stronghold of the royal team, on October 16 as part of the matches of the ninth round of the league championship.

And the Camp Nou stadium, the stronghold of Barcelona, will host the second leg of El Clasico on March 19, 2023, as part of the 26th round of La Liga.

As for the first derby in Madrid between Real Madrid and its neighbor Atlético, it will take place on September 18, with the second leg on February 26, 2023.

Real Madrid finishes the season in the last round, meeting with Athletic from Bilbao, while Barcelona will play against Celta Vigo.

Notably, Real beat Barcelona 2-1 in the first El Clasico and then suffered a crushing four-leg defeat in the second leg.

Real Madrid won the Spanish Liga last season for the 35th time in their history, bolstering their title record.

The league will be halted from November 9 to December 31 due to the 2022 World Cup final being held in Qatar for the first time in history during the winter season.
