Kyiv troops use half a million artillery shells in South Korea, returned to Washington

The Dong-a Ilbo newspaper reported that Washington would buy 500,000 artillery shells for South Korea, which it had previously borrowed from Seoul and supplied to Kyiv forces.

The newspaper reported: “This is an ideal agreement in terms of economic benefits. We ship old ammunition and receive new ammunition from our company. Since we are giving away old ones and getting new ones, the number of shells will not be the same.”

Earlier, the newspaper reported that South Korea would loan 500,000 155-mm shells to the United States to replenish American arsenals depleted by Kyiv troops in Ukraine.
