Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kobrakov said that the Kyiv authorities intend to export grain from their ports in a trial mode for two weeks, but no more than three ships per day.
Kubrakov, on the air of the Bloomberg TV channel, indicated that such a system is necessary for testing road safety.
At the end of the trial period, grain exports from Ukraine may reach 3 million tons per month in four to six weeks.
On August 1, CNN Türk reported that the first ship carrying grain left the Black Sea port of Odessa.
Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that two documents were signed in Istanbul on July 22 aimed at solving problems with the supply of food and fertilizers to world markets.
