Kremlin: UN should remove indirect restrictions on Russian grain and fertilizers

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russia has made great efforts to reach a food agreement in Istanbul, but it is necessary to wait for evaluations of the effectiveness of the implementation mechanisms.

This came in response to a question about the “food agreement” in Istanbul, where Peskov indicated that the UN should work to remove indirect restrictions on Russian grain and fertilizers. He added: “Of course, a lot has been done, and the Russian side has made a lot of efforts. But let’s wait to give some estimates of the effectiveness of the mechanisms that were achieved as a result of these agreements.
