Kremlin: Putin had a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart

According to the Kremlin’s press service, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indonesian President Joko Widodo discussed by telephone bilateral relations and the implementation of the agreements reached during Widodo’s visit to Russia.

He continued: “The issue of global food security was discussed. In particular, Vladimir Putin spoke about the efforts being made by Russia in cooperation with Turkey and the UN Secretariat to stabilize the situation on the world grain and fertilizer markets.”

Putin and Fidodo also discussed preparations for the G20 summit, which will be held on the Indonesian island of Bali next November.
