The press service of the Avito website reported that the Russian investment company Kismet Capital Group acquired 100% of Avito shares owned by Naspers for 151 billion rubles.

“The investment company Kismet Capital announces that it has entered into an agreement to purchase all shares of the Avito advertising platform owned by Naspers Holding (South Africa), the transaction value is 151 billion rubles (2.5 billion US dollars),” the message says. to the statement.

The interaction between Avito and Kismet will be aimed at maintaining the current long-term platform development strategy. Avito’s current senior management team, led by CEO Vladimir Pravdevi, will continue to run the company.

The Avito ad platform is the largest in the world with 122 million active ads and an annual audience of over 90 million users. It employs over 5,000 employees.

Kismet Capital Group is an investment group established in 2016, specializing in investments in the technology, media and communications sector, as well as having extensive experience in conducting IPOs on international trading floors.
