US National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said the time to reach an agreement with Iran to return to the nuclear deal signed in 2015 is running out.
Kirby said during a press conference on Thursday: “Negotiations are almost complete at this point. And you heard the President (Joe Biden) say that we are not going to wait forever for Iran to agree to the deal that was offered to it. .”
He added that Iran should accept the US offer, adding that “it looks like time is running out to reach an agreement.”
US Assistant Secretary of State Barbara Leaf said that Iran is trying to “include other issues” in negotiations to return to the nuclear deal, but Washington does not intend to discuss this.
And US Special Representative for Iran Robert Mulley went to Vienna to participate in a new round of talks with Tehran.
