Khmeimim: The Syrian army shot down most of the Israeli missiles in yesterday’s attack using Russian air defense systems

The Russian Reconciliation Center reported that the Syrian army, responding to the Israeli attack, shot down most of the missiles with the help of Russian air defense systems.

Major General Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, said: “On September 17, 4 Israeli F-16 fighters attacked from the Golan Heights, using 4 cruise missiles and 10 guided aircraft missiles, on the province from Damascus.”

He added: “The Syrian air defense forces destroyed 2 missiles and 6 guided air missiles using Russian Pantsir-S-1 and Buk-M2i complexes.
