Khmeimim: Syrian defense shot down 3 Israeli air force missiles launched on the suburbs of Homs from Lebanese airspace

The Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria reported that Syrian air defense systems shot down three of eight missiles fired by Israeli Air Force fighters in the suburbs of Homs from Lebanese airspace.

Oleg Yegorov, deputy head of the center, explained that “on November 13, 2022, from 18:30 to 18:35, an Israeli Air Force F-15 fighter group launched an air strike with eight cruise missiles on targets from Lebanese airspace. in the area and at the Shayrat military airfield in the suburbs of Homs, the Syrian Air Defense Forces shot down three missiles.

On the eve of the Israeli Air Force missile attack, the Shayrat military airport, 165 km from Damascus, was attacked, as a result of which two Syrian soldiers were killed and three were injured.
