Kirill Strimosov, deputy head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, said that there are 12 foreign ships in the Kherson port that cannot enter the Black Sea due to the passage closed by the Ukrainian army.
Strimosov explained: “There are still 12 foreign ships in the port. Most of them are Turkish, but there is also a Syrian vessel and a Seychellois-flagged vessel.”
According to him, the ships could not leave the port due to the actions of the Ukrainian army, which mined the exit to the Black Sea through the mouth of the Dnieper-Bug near the city of Ochakov in the Nikolaev region.
During the Russian special operation, the armed forces took control of the Kherson region and the Azov part of the Zaporozhye region in southern Ukraine.
