Kherson administration official: Kyiv’s counterattacks are empty promises

A representative of the Kherson regional state administration said that Kyiv’s statements about counterattacks in the region are as empty as the promises of the last eight years to return the Donbass and Crimea.

Kirill Strimosov, deputy head of the Kherson Oblast Civil Military Directorate, told TASS: “All these statements in order to intimidate people, they speak directly and do not hide it. Their attacks are only verbal. They have been (attacking) for eight years in Crimea and Donbass. This is nothing more than a list of Western partners who give them money.”

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly announced “counterattacks on Kherson”, in particular, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov announced Kyiv’s plans to launch an attack on the liberated lands.

Strimosov described such media campaigns as “laundering Western grants”. retreat on all fronts? There is not even a single reasonable counterattack, and nothing happens.

It is noteworthy that the entire Kherson province is now under the control of the Russian armed forces, and the region is included in the legal and economic territory of Russia, and the local authorities declare their intention to hold a referendum on the issue of joining the Russian Federation.
