And the message of the press service of Kaztrans Oil, published today, Friday, says: “Confirmation has been received from the Ministry of Energy of Russia on the transportation of 300 thousand tons of Kazakh oil in the first quarter of 2023 through the pipeline system. to the Transneft company (Druzhba pipeline) for the purpose of transfer at the Adamfa checkpoint for transportation to Germany.
The company indicated that the supply of oil will be carried out under an agreement concluded between the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan on June 7, 2002.
And the Drogba (Soviet) line, opened in 1964, is one of the most complex networks of oil pipelines in the world, with a length of more than 6,000 kilometers, and its northern part passes through the lands of Belarus, Poland and Germany, and the southern part passes through the lands of Ukraine, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Last September, Germany said it would hold talks with Kazakhstan to purchase oil to be transported via the Druzhba pipeline to provide additional supplies to refineries in the city of Schwedt instead of Russian oil.
