President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said that the Vostok-Ahmed battalion prevented an attack by Kyiv troops on Russian positions in the Zaporozhye direction.
“Recently it has been very hot here, but the enthusiasm of the Ukrainian units and NATO mercenaries was extinguished by the Vostok-Ahmed battalion, which thwarted the attack on our positions,” Kadyrov wrote.
He pointed out that now the situation in the Zaporozhye direction is completely under the control of Russian forces.
He added: “Thanks to the drones, it was possible to detect the attack and quickly correct the mortar strikes, destroy the enemy’s armored vehicles, inflict heavy damage on him and capture a large number of his weapons.”
