Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns Afghan mosque bombing

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs has condemned a bomb attack on a mosque in the western Afghan city of Herat that killed and injured dozens of people.

The Ministry reaffirmed its strong condemnation of all forms of violence and terrorism, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.

Afghan media reported that on Friday, a massive explosion took place in one of the largest mosques in the western city of Herat, killing 28 people, including the imam of the mosque, and injuring 45 others.
