Japanese MP: US and UK provoked conflict in Ukraine

Member of the upper house of the Japanese Parliament Munyo Suzuki believes that the United States and Great Britain have done a lot to provoke a conflict in Ukraine.

In an interview with RIA Novosti, he said: “It all started with the fact that on October 23 last year, Ukraine launched a drone (Bayraktar). And that was the start of everything. At the time, Putin understood that the blow could be inflicted on his own people. .And he began to use troops. But the United States began to provoke, saying: “Russia will attack now, Russia will attack now.” rallies and Putin’s call for restraint. This is what the president of the United States should have done, not statements: “You will attack now, you will attack now.” I think this is unreasonable. Then the G7 and especially the UK made a very provocative statement. I think there’s a big problem.”

The Japanese politician expressed confidence that the United States and the G7 countries bear the main responsibility for the escalation of tensions between Russia and Ukraine.

He explained: “America is not the global policeman. America is not a global financial country. She can only insist on it. All these provocations come from the US and the UK. Japan should not fall for this.”
