West Ham announced today, Monday, the indefinite contract of French goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from Paris Saint-Germain after he played on loan with the English club last season.
Areola signed a five-year deal with West Ham after a £7.75 million deal to compete with Pole Lukasz Fabianski for the number one goalkeeper position in the London side.
