It’s official.. Amota is the new coach of Moroccan Wydad Casablanca

Wydad Casablanca has officially signed Moroccan coach Al-Hussein Amota to take over the Reds replacing Walid Rekraki, a candidate for the Moroccan national team post, following the sacking of Bosnian Vahid Halilhodzic.

And the Moroccan newspaper Hesport, citing informed sources, reported that today Amota will sign a training contract with the Al-Ahmar team.

Amota managed the Moroccan national team to work with local players before again agreeing to return to coach Wydad Casablanca.

In his first term at Wydad 5 years ago, Amota became an understudy for the Moroccan League and the African Champions League and also led the Moroccan team of local players to victory in the 2021 Chan African Championship.
