It’s official.. Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia announces their contract with French coach Garcia

Saudi club Al-Nasr have released an official statement announcing their contract with French coach Rudy Garcia, who will take over the team next season.

In an official statement released by Al-Nasr through his official Twitter account, he confirmed the contract with veteran French coach Rudy Garcia.

The statement reads: Al-Nasr Club Chairman Mr. Musli Al Muammar has signed a contract with French coach Rudy Garcia to train the first football team, wishing him success all over the world.

Al-Nasr’s official account also posted a video greeting their new coach in French titled “Winning is ambition”.

Al-Nasr announced earlier on Tuesday evening that he thanked former coach Miguel Rosso after the end of the 2021-2022 season in the Saudi League and finished third in the world behind Al-Hilal, champion and runner-up Al-Ittihad.

Coach Rudi Garcia has previously achieved success in European stadiums, and in the 2010-2011 season he won the French league championship with Lille, as well as the Cup.

Garcia coached Roma for three years before having a successful career with Marseille and reaching the 2017-2018 Europa League final.

And led Lyon to a historic achievement in the Champions League, rising to the semi-finals at the expense of Manchester City and coach Josep Guardiola.
