An Israeli tried to burn his lawyer after he broke into his office in Jerusalem, claiming he cheated on him to sell his apartment and stole everything he had.
According to Jewish sources, a 45-year-old Israeli arrived at a law firm in Jerusalem, doused one of the offices with gasoline, then attacked the lawyer with a metal box and hit him on the head.
Police said they had arrested the assailant, who was handed over to a magistrate’s court in Jerusalem, and a police spokesman demanded an extension of his detention by five days, given the seriousness of his actions.
