Israeli Defense Minister: We have over $3 billion in deals with Arab countries

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Israel has signed agreements with Arab countries worth more than $3 billion.

Gantz added that the deals are “the fruit of agreements to normalize relations between Israel and the Arab countries,” as quoted by the Israel Broadcasting Corporation.

The Israeli minister explained that “since the signing of the Abraham Accords, there have been about 150 meetings between Israeli security officials and their counterparts in the countries of the region and the countries of the normalization agreements (except Egypt and Jordan).

In the relevant context, Gantz indicated that Israel is “working to strengthen cooperation in the region against Iran in various fields, in the air and at sea.”
