Israeli army: we were present at a week-long military operation against the movement "Islamic jihad" in Gaza

The Israeli army said it was involved in a week-long military operation against the Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip.

“The Iron Dome missile defense system managed to intercept more than 95% of the projectiles fired across the border,” said IDF spokesman Brigadier General Ran Kochav.

Kochav added: “We attacked 40 targets, including five missile launchers and six missile depots or sites,” praising civilians for their “determination,” which he said “allowed the army to carry out an operation that included second day”. Higher-ranking members of the movement will be persecuted.”

Kochav believes that “Islamic Jihad is a leaderless group and less organized than the ruling Hamas movement in Gaza,” adding, “Islamic Jihad received a major blow during the 11 days of fighting last year, which is now demonstrated by its ability to launch rockets. Exactly… On Friday, less than 10 rockets were fired at central Israel, and some of them fell into the sea.”
