Israeli army confiscated a large amount of drugs on the border with Egypt

Today, Monday, the Israeli army announced that security forces had foiled an attempt to smuggle large quantities of drugs into Israel from Egypt.

The army said in a statement that “soldiers spotted through security cameras suspects approaching the border from Egypt at night, and forces were sent to the scene, where a large number of suspects were arrested and three hidden cans of drugs were found. near, nearby.”

He stated that “about 80 kilograms of marijuana with an estimated value of NIS 3 million ($867,000) were confiscated.”
