Iraq. Two brothers were killed by militants in the Tarmiya region, north of the capital Baghdad.

An RT correspondent reported on Sunday evening that two brothers had been killed in an armed attack by unidentified men believed to be linked to ISIS in the Tarmiya district north of the capital Baghdad.

A security source said that 19-year-old Marwan Mahmoud Hussein and 18-year-old Anas Mahmoud Hussain were killed while returning from a wedding in the village of Albu Kazem Al-Zour in the Tarmiya district.

The source added that “the two men killed were attacked by an armed vehicle carrying unidentified elements believed to be associated with ISIS.”

This security breach is the third of its kind in the Tarmiya area in the past few hours, as three security personnel were injured to varying degrees in the area earlier in the day.
