Iraq. Turkish camp in Nineveh subjected to new rocket fire

Sarbest Babiri, a spokesman for Iraqi Peshmerga forces east of the Tigris, announced that a Turkish camp in the Zilkan district of Nineveh province was under attack again today after the attack on the camp last night.

Babiri said that 6 to 8 Katyusha rockets were again fired at the camp tonight.

He pointed out that the extent of the damage caused by the missiles, which were sent from Mosul, is still unknown.

Yesterday, Saturday, an RT correspondent in Iraq reported that a Turkish military camp had been hit by missile attacks in northern Iraq.

Islamic Resistance – Liwa Ahrar al-Iraq claimed responsibility for shelling the Turkish base in Zlikan with four 122-mm Grad rockets.
