Iranian MP asserts that negotiation is the only option for Washington with Tehran.

Iranian MP Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi said the United States has always sought an interim agreement with Tehran.

Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi added, “From the start of nuclear talks to this day, America has been and continues to put forward proposals for an interim agreement for a year or two that includes the lifting of sanctions in exchange for a freeze on Iranian nuclear activities.”

He stated that Iran categorically rejected these proposals because they were irrational.

The Iranian MP stressed that Washington has no other choice but to negotiate with Tehran, noting that if the US had another option, they would have used it long ago.

Regarding the role of Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Shamkhani, As for the resumption of relations between Tehran and Riyadh, or even the nuclear dossier, this is a decision taken by the regime and respected by all.

He explained that making delicate decisions in the diplomatic arena is a task involving multiple institutions, not just one person.
