Iran believes that "no basis" Albanian allegations of cyberattacks

Iran denied Albania’s allegations that it launched a cyber attack on the government, calling the allegations “baseless”.

“Albania’s decision to sever political relations with our country on the basis of such baseless accusations is a rash and short-sighted act in international relations,” the Iranian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that Tirana “decided to immediately cut off diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran due to the launch of the July 15 cyber attacks against government institutions”, noting that “an in-depth investigation has provided us with unequivocal evidence that the attacks were staged and brought up by Tehran.
