Iran and Saudi Arabia have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding the upcoming Hajj season.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the head of the Iranian Hajj and Visiting Organization and the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia signed a memorandum of understanding to send Iranians to perform the rituals of the next hajj season.

The negotiations and the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding took place in an absolutely friendly atmosphere, as the parties exchanged views and opinions on issues related to the performance of the Hajj rituals for the next season.

The details of the memorandum of understanding will be finalized for the upcoming Hajj season after the head of the Iranian Hajj Organization returns to Tehran and visits Sadiq Hosseini and his accompanying delegation.

Earlier, the minister traveled to the Kingdom after the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah extended an invitation to him to negotiate the share of Iranian pilgrims for next season.
