Today, Friday, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad took part in the launch of the fifth group of the Aleppo thermal power plant after its rehabilitation, which will generate 200 megawatts to supply the province of Aleppo with electricity.
The President of the Syrian Arab Republic stated today on his Telegram page: “Six years ago, the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army liberated a thermal plant in the eastern part of Aleppo province, and today, Syrian engineers, technicians and workers, with their experience, determination and with their white hands, completed the rehabilitation of the group fifth generation.
She added: “Today, President Bashar al-Assad was present at the Aleppo thermal plant among experts, workers and technicians to witness with them the launch of the fifth group of the station after its restoration, which will produce 200 megawatts to supply the province of Aleppo with electricity.”
Al-Assad was also informed about the ongoing restoration work on the remaining four units, which will also be put into operation after the completion of the repair and restoration work.
He believes that Aleppo governorate has suffered more from terrorism and sabotage than other governorates, and therefore Aleppo deserves to be the biggest beneficiary of the station reform.
President al-Assad said that the Syrian workers are the second group on the front to rebuild what was destroyed by terrorism and provide the effort, the race and the martyrs. difficulties fall before will and determination.
