In May, LEGO 2K Will Release Drive, an Open-World, Triple-A Racing Game

The open-world driving adventure game Lego 2K Drive, developed by Lego Group and 2K, will launch on consoles and PC in May. IGN, who reportedly posted the content before the embargo was removed tomorrow, is where the fresh information is found.

Players can design any vehicle they want for street racing, off-road travel, or sea transport in the game’s single-player and multiplayer modes, which will be available. More than 1,000 Lego parts are available in multiplayer games, which players can use to build cars.

Prebuilt vehicles with well-known Lego sets like City, Creator, and Speed Champions are also available. The legendary McLaren Solus GT and F1 LM vehicles will also be in the lineup.

Players can race alongside or against one another in Lego 2K Drive multiplayer. Competitive races can have up to six participants. Along with online multiplayer, there will also be a two-player split-screen mode.

There must be facts regarding the game’s variety of modes or whether it will have a battle pass. It’s also necessary to make single-player information accessible outside of an open-world environment.

The year-one Drive Pass, expected to feature mini-figures, vehicle flairs, and a new biome, has been revealed to have at least a year’s worth of post-launch content for Lego 2K Drive, despite the lack of a clear mention of a battle pass. The Drive Pass has four seasons of post-launch content planned, each with new vehicles and themes.

On May 19, 2023, Lego 2K Drive’s regular Edition will cost $69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series, although it will only cost $59.99 on other platforms. The Awesome Edition, which includes the Year 1 Drive Pass and the Extras above, will cost $99.99.
